This Bible was printed in 2013. The earliest translations of biblical texts in Georgian date to the fifth century. As early as 1705, portions of the Bible began to be printed. In 1743, the first complete Bible was printed in Moscow, Russia, at the Georgian printing house revived by Prince Bakar of Kartli. The canon of the Georgian Bible includes Psalm 151 and the Prayer of Manasseh, but labels works like Judith and Sirach historically important but non-canonical.
