Considered the most lavishly illustrated Bible printed in America, this Bible was originally sold in a series of 54 issues at 25 cents each. While large Bibles such as this were considered “family Bibles,” this particular one does not contain any dedication entry or birth, marriage, or death notes. Designed for group Bible study, these editions came in large volumes, complete with pictures, maps, and glossaries.
