This is the authorized Bible for the Russian Orthodox Church, printed with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II, who was the Patriarch of Moscow and all Rus’ prior to his death in 2008. The text of this Bible comes from a revision of the Elizabeth Bible, which was published in 1756.
