This modern printing of a Greek Bible includes the Septuagint Old Testament and Patriarchal 1904 New Testament, which are authorized texts for the Orthodox Church. The Septuagint is an early and important Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible, which is used as the basis for the Old Testament in the Eastern Orthodox Church. Greek is also the original language of the New Testament.
