Used by the Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East, this Bible is the same as that of the standard 39-book Old Testament and 27-book New Testament found in Protestant Christianity. The Assyrian Church of the East descends from the Church of the East, which was a branch of Christianity established in the early fifth century.
