This Bible is an environmentally friendly Bible made from recycled paper and soy-based ink. It includes over 1,000 verses referencing the earth in green ink, encouraging readers “to see God's vision for creation and help you engage in the work of healing and sustaining it.” This specialty study Bible also features scholarly essays throughout the text, including entries by N. T. Wright, Brian McLaren, and Barbara Brown Taylor as well as a foreword by Desmond Tutu. The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) translation is used for this Bible.

Published in 2008 by HarperOne, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, New York, United States; Purchased in 2017 by Museum of the Bible, Washington, DC.[1]
