Also known by its Latin title, Historiae Biblicae Veteris et Novi Testamenti, or German title, Biblische Geschichten, des Alten und Neuen Testaments, the illustrations were engraved by Joseph and Johann Klauber. This German Bilderbuch, or picture book, includes 100 engraved plates of biblical scenes set in a continuous narrative.

Printed in 1748 in Augsburg, Germany. Acquired by Dr. René von Marassé.[1] Acquired before 2010 by The Curio Shop/Jacob Greenvald, Tel-Aviv, Israel; Purchased in 2010 by Green Collection, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Donated in 2017 to National Christian Foundation (later The Signatry) under the curatorial care of Museum of the Bible, Washington, DC.

Notes: [1] The name Dr. René von Marassé is stamped twice on the title page.
