In the 1950s, Dr. Kenneth Taylor worried his children were having a hard time understanding the King James Bible and started paraphrasing the New Testament into modern English. After several publishing houses rejected his manuscript, Dr. Taylor and his wife used their life savings to found Tyndale House Publishers and publish Living Letters: The Paraphrased Epistles in 1962. In the following years, Tyndale House published additional Living-series books and teenage editions of the Living series. This is a copy of the fourth printing of Rebel with a Cause, a teenage edition of the book of Mark as developed by the editors of Campus Life magazine, Youth for Christ International.
