In the 1950s, Dr. Kenneth Taylor worried his children were having a hard time understanding the King James Bible and started paraphrasing the New Testament into modern English. After several publishing houses rejected his manuscript, Dr. Taylor and his wife used their life savings to found Tyndale House Publishers and publish Living Letters: The Paraphrased Epistles in 1962. In the following years, Tyndale House published additional Living-series books and teenage editions of the Living series. This is a copy of the third printing of Tune In!, a teenage edition of the book of John as developed by the editors of Campus Life magazine, Youth for Christ International.

Published in 1968 by Tyndale House Publishers, Wheaton, Illinois. Acquired by Ms. Arnold; Gifted to Gary Arnold;[1] Donated in 2020 to Green Collection, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, under the curatorial care of Museum of the Bible, Washington, DC.

Notes: [1] Gifted to Gary Arnold by his mother while he was in junior high school.
