The Full Life Study Bible, New Testament was created by American minister and missionary Donald C. Stamps. While serving a church in Brazil in the 1980s, Stamps came to see a need for a Bible that included notes and study aids written from a Pentecostal perspective that could be used by pastors, teachers, and laypeople. Using the text of the New International Version, he completed the New Testament in 1989, which was published in 1990. The Old Testament was published in 1992. The Full Life Study Bible has since been translated into over 50 languages, and new editions would eventually lead to the FireBible.
