This Bible is an updated edition of the 1839 version of the Hawaiian Bible (Baibala Hemolele) with modern orthography. While this translation is based on the New American Standard Version, source languages such as Hebrew and Greek were carefully considered, as were other English translations of the Bible. This new bilingual edition considered each word and phrase in its biblical context and updated Hawaiian spellings and words for a modernized Hawaiian Bible.

Published in 2018 by Mutual Publishing and Partners in Development Foundation, Hawaii; Donated in 2019 to Museum of the Bible, Washington, DC.
