Luis Palau is a prominent and prolific Latin American evangelist whose ministry spanned nearly six decades. Born in Argentina in 1934, he was inspired to become an evangelist at the age of 12 after hearing Billy Graham preach on the radio. Palau established his own radio ministry in 1964 and began holding large-scale revival campaigns. After moving to the United States, he established the Luis Palau Evangelistic Association, eventually speaking to millions of people in dozens of nations worldwide. Palau owned and studied this Bible in the early years of his ministry. Full of personal notes and sermon outlines, it helps document the use and impact of the Bible by one of the twentieth century’s most notable ministers.

Printed in 1950 by the Sociedades Biblicas Unidas, London; Acquired in 1953 by Luis Palau, Buenos Aires, Argentina; Donated in 2018 to Museum of the Bible, Washington, DC.
