This dress was created specifically for Museum of the Bible in 2019 by designer Chiara Boni, whose brand, “La Petite Robe,” launched in 2007 and is now helmed by President Anthony Vecchione. The one-of-a-kind dress is adorned with imagery from Roviale Spagnolo’s 1550 adaptation of Michelangelo’s Last Judgment scene from the Sistine Chapel. The hosts of heaven surround an isolated image of Christ, drawing attention to him as the main subject.
